This is what looks to be a mutt of a house cat. The above picture is him cooling down after a serious petting and scratching session. He kinda loves the camera, not afraid to strut a bit.
You can see here that this little guy knows how to take a behind the ear scratch real well. He leans right on into it.
Here's a move that a cat will do only when it feels at it's utmost level of comfort. Writhing on the ground like this means, "Pet and scratch me liberally! Now!" Like a dying earthworm on the dry pavement, if earthworms were cuter than hell is.
